Scientific-theoretical seminar on “Lexical-semantic analysis of the pragmalinguistic terms “anthropocentism  and “paradigm”” by Sabirova Bernara Umarjanovna, teacher of the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Foreign Philology
 On March 15, 2022, the teacher of the department “English language and literature” Sabirova Bernara Umarjanovna organized a scientific-theoretical seminar for professors and teachers of the department. 
The topic of the seminar was “Lexical-semantic analysis of the pragmalinguistic term “anthropocentism” and “paradigm”. 
  The introductory part of the seminar highlighted that the topic is one of the most relevant and innovative topics of the 21st century, and with its many positive aspects is becoming an effective approach for language teachers today. During the seminar, the lexical meanings of the terms anthropocentrism and paradigm were explained, and then the use of the terms in linguistics was given.
          The seminar was very lively and interesting. Debates on lexical-semantic analysis of terms, especially in discussions with professors and teachers of the department, were very heated.
   At the end of the seminar, professors and teachers of the department expressed their views on the seminar conducted by the teacher and made suggestions on the topic of the next seminar.
