In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Department of Physics and Mathematics continues scientific and organizational work on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017 No. PQ-2909 “On measures for the further development of the higher education system”. In particular, attention is drawn to further strengthening cooperation with leading universities in the world. One example of this is the visit of Eric Bedford, a professor at Stony Brook University in the United States.

Eric Bedford gives a lecture on Holomorphic Dynamical Systems for teachers, researchers, undergraduates, and senior students. Each lecture is held with great interest, and during presentations it also gives problems for researchers and undergraduates. In addition, Azimbai Sadullaev, professor at the National University of Uzbekistan, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, takes part in the lecture.
