Teachers of the English language and literature department under the leadership of the head of the department Ermetova J.I. became the winners of the grant Seed Program for Korean Studies. The purpose of the project is:

to create undergraduate program on “Korean Studies and Korean Language Education” for bachelor students at Urgench State University;
to implement blended learning technologies on specialized courses;
to implement new lectures and seminars on Korean studies and create curriculum and syllabus;
to impact on employibility of graduates with specialized diploma for secondary and higher educational Institutions;
to raise interest of youth to Korean history, traditional and customs, culture and modern lifestyle of Korean people.
