On October 6, 2022, Akhmedova Ugiljon Kuronboyevna, teacher of the "English Language and Literature" department of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, conducted a scientific-methodological seminar to the professors of the department on the topic “Developing students’ creativity through Project based learning in teaching English”. During the seminar, the role of project-based education in foreign language teaching methodology, its first appearance and development stages, and the state of use of the approach in the philological directions of Uzbekistan's higher education institutions have been discussed in detail. The seminar was very intense and rich in discussions. In particular, the debates about the difficulties and advantages of using project work by the professors and teachers of the department became very intense.
