On July 4-6, 2024, an official delegation headed by the governor of Khorezm region is making a business trip to Turkey. The Rector of Urgench State University, Bakhrom Abdullayev, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies, Sh.Kuramboyev, and Head of the International Cooperation Department, E.Yoldoshev, are participating in this official delegation.

Today, members of the delegation visited Istanbul University. Istanbul University is one of the oldest universities in Turkey, and before the visit, they got to know the historical buildings of this old university and its opportunities for students. After that, negotiations were held with the university management on further strengthening of cooperation relations.

In particular, it was agreed to jointly organize symposia, scientific conferences, develop the exchange of students and professors, and implement Erasmus+ programs.
