A conference held which was dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in education.
A conference dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on the educational process and its effective use held at Urganch State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruniy, initiated by the American Councils for International Education.Professors, teachers, doctoral students, and master's students participated. The training was moderated by the project initiator, Associate Professor Feruza Masharipova from the Department of English Language and Literature. The following speakers gave their speech at the conference:
Jack Evans (Fulbright ETA Scholar) – "GPA Meets GPT: The Evolution of Education in the AI Era";
Ulugbek Salaev (Teacher at the Department of Computer Science) – "AI in Research";
Sultonmakhmud Palvanov (Head of the Digital Technologies Department) – "ChatGPT Security Reminders for Users".
During the conference, practical approaches to using artificial intelligence in the educational process, increasing student engagement, fostering creativity, and supporting the teaching process were extensively discussed. At the end of the conference, the role of educators in preparing youth for future professions in the context of digital transformation and the urgency of improving education policy were noted.
