Call for applications ERASMUS+ KA171


University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic and Urgench State University, Uzbekistan, jointly announce call for applications under the Erasmus+ KA171 project coordinated by University of South Bohemia, funded by European Union. The applicants are supposed to conduct training for 15 days at the University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic, during the academic year 2025-2026.

The candidates should be prepared for the following activities:

A mobility participant should cooperate with representatives of regional or local destination management organizations (DMOs) and experts involved in the creation of digital tools in tourism, including tools for data collection in tourism and the compilation of statistics. During the three-year project, participants will contribute to addressing environmental and energy issues with regard to the development of tourism in the Khorezm region and experience with SMART technologies in tourism, including an economic point of view. The aim is to prepare joint research and consider modifying or creating courses based on shared knowledge and exploring destination management models through national and regional destination management organisations and their applicability in Uzbekistan. 

Eligibility: Candidates must have a background in economics and/or tourism. Candidates should express a strong interest in conducting research activities and carrying out the activities required within the project.

Interested candidates should send a CV containing publications in Scopus and WoS journals, a recent diploma (Master or PhD) showing strong background for the required activities, an English language proof and a motivation letter to the Faculty coordinator, Dr. Bekhzod Kuziboev, via email: bekhzod.kuziboev@gmail.com
