An online geography Olympiad was organized among schoolchildren at Urgench State University. Online Olympiad in Geography will be held among students in grades 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

The Olympiad will be held online at geografiyaurduolimp.wordpress.com. Schoolchildren wishing to participate in the Olympiad must register before 23:59 on November 30 of the current year. The Olympics will start on December 1. It will consist of 2 main stages: test and written work. The tests will be conducted in 4 rounds (one round is held per month) and the maximum number of points that can be collected for each round is 25. In total, a participant in the Olympiad can score a maximum of 100 points (4 * 25 = 100) at this stage. Students who scored 60 or more points in test tests move on to the next stage - written work, where 5 practical tasks are given. A maximum of 20 points is given for the correct completion of each task. At this stage, the student can score a total of 100 points (5 * 20 = 100). It is at this stage that the winners of the Olympiad will be determined. The winners will be awarded diplomas and gifts.
