The final stage of the UrSU Olympiad in Computer Science and Information Technology for school graduates

According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 6, 2020 No PR-4851 Paragraph 12 "On measures to further improve the education system in the field of information technology, development of research and their integration with the IT industry" starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, all higher education institutions training personnel in the field of informatics and information technologies will hold a multi-stage (district (city) -region-higher education institution) Olympiad in Computer Science and Information Technology among high school graduates and the winners of the 1st-3rd places will be admitted to the first academic year without exams, with the payment for the first academic year at the expense of higher education institutions.

In this regard, a two-stage Olympiad in this subject was organized at Urgench State University. The first qualifying round was held on April 20 and was attended by 392 graduates of secondary schools in the region. 20 of them were selected for the final stage of the Olympics.

On April 27, 2022 at Urgench State University was held the final stage of the Olympiad of UrSU on the subject of "Computer Science and Information Technology" among high school graduates. 20 students participated in the Olympiad.

According to the final results of the Olympiad, Rakhmatjon Rustamov, 11th grade student of school No. 34 of Khanka district, took the 1st place, Shohrukh Yuldashev, 11th grade student of school No. 29 of Gurlan district took the 2nd place. Dadahon Ruziboyev, an 11th grade student of school No. 5 in Hazarasp district, took the third place.
