Book of Remembrance for Victims of Repression in the Khorezm Region
This book is based on Decree No. F-5598 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 8, 2020, “On further study of the legacy of victims of repression and additional measures to perpetuate their memory,” and Resolution No. PQ-270 dated July 19, 2024, “On expanding work to study, promote, and perpetuate the memory of our compatriots who were victims of political repression” during the colonial period of the Russian Empire, as well as during the years of Soviet power, who fought for the freedom of our homeland, called on the nation to freedom and liberty, but punished during the reign of the tsarist empire and accused by the tyrannical Soviet regime of being “enemies of the people,” shot, exiled to cold countries, and unjustly repressed. published with the aim of perpetuating their names.
