Today, February 11, at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, under the auspices of the Department of English Language and Literature, a prestigious conference began as part of the international project "Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia." This seminar is dedicated to the topic "Sustainable Support for the Professional Development of English Language Teachers in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Based on the Experience of PRESETT at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Bayseu University, and Urgench State University" and will take place on February 11-12.
It involves responsible officials from the British Council in Uzbekistan, representatives from Baiseyitova Kazakh University, and teachers from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
As part of the project, it is planned to enhance the professional potential of English language teachers, improve educational programs, expand inclusive approaches, and strengthen the role of the English language as a competitive factor in state policy.
