Today, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, the process of special state accreditation was launched for opening the educational programs “60611100 – Infocommunication Engineering” and “60712100 – Renewable Energy Sources.” In this regard, Chief Inspector of TSAMA Nuriddin Ubaydullayev, along with local and international experts Baxtiyor Akmuradov, Isroil Yuldoshev, and Azamat Abdymomunov, visited the university. Indian expert Kirti Seth participated online.
Initially, a meeting was held with the participation of the members of the expert commission. During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G.Rakhimov delivered a presentation providing detailed information about the university’s activities, existing educational environment, scientific potential, material and technical base, as well as future development directions.
In addition, heads of the relevant departments presented the essence and significance of the educational programs, their alignment with the university’s strategic development goals, their relevance to labor market demands, and their future prospects. The information presented by the experts was thoroughly discussed, followed by a question-and-answer session.
During the process, the experts also conducted an online dialogue with employers. The discussion focused on the relevance of the new educational programs to today’s labor market, industry needs, requirements for modern specialists, and the professional competencies expected from graduates.
The accreditation processes are ongoing.
