Representatives of China’s XCMG Corporation visited Urgench State University

Today, a delegation led by Zhang Lina, Director of the Global Education and Training Center of one of the major industrial corporations of the People’s Republic of China — the XCMG Group, and Huang Chuanxue, Vice President of Suzhou University of Technology, visited Urgench State University.

During the official talks held as part of the visit, with the participation of the university rector Feruza Madrahimova, the organizational aspects of the 2+1+1 joint educational program in engineering and mechanical engineering fields, established in cooperation between Urgench State University, Xuzhou University of Technology (China), and the XCMG Group, were thoroughly discussed.

After the official negotiations, the XCMG delegation became closely acquainted with the “China–Uzbekistan Center” located in the University Information Resource Center.

Subsequently, accompanied by Rector F. Madrahimova, the delegation visited the Faculty of Engineering, where they were introduced to the conditions created for students, modern laboratory facilities, and scientific-innovative projects.

At the end of the visit, representatives of the delegation held a meeting with students who are planning to study under the joint educational program. During the meeting, students were provided with information about the content of the program, the organization of the educational process, stages of study, internship opportunities at XCMG Group companies, and future employment prospects within the corporation.
