National Education Policy 2020


Today, international cooperation in the field of education and the use of the latest achievements of the educational process in accordance with international standards are among the most pressing issues.
To date, Urgench State University has signed more than 58 international agreements with higher education institutions in 26 countries.
On November 5, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding on International Cooperation was signed with the Bharati Vidiyapit Institute of Education and Research of India. The main goal of the agreement, signed by the two universities, is to intensify the scientific and academic activities of professors and teachers and to strengthen the university's ties with the leading scientific institutes of India.
On this basis, on November 7, 2020, a symposium on "2020 - National Education Digitization Program" was organized by the Bharati Vidiyapit Institute of Education and Research. A number of professors and teachers headed by the rector of Urgench State University B.I. Abdullaev took an active part in the symposium, which was held to get acquainted with the "2020 - National Education Digitization Program" of the Bharati Vidiyapit Institute of Education and Research. During the symposium there were presentations by professors and teachers of two universities. In particular, the rector of Urgench State University B.I. Abdullaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.U. Khodjaniyazov spoke about higher education in Uzbekistan, as well as about the development programs of Urgench State University.
Jamilya Ermetova, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, Khosiyat Shikhova, Head of the Monitoring and Internal Control Department, and Muzaffar Shojonov, an employee of the Information Technology Center, worked on the organization of this Symposium. All of them are aimed at the sustainable continuation of the "Modern Center for Teaching Online Education" created at UrSU in the framework of a project funded by the World Bank and contribute to the transformation of higher education.
In the future, students, masters and doctoral students will be able to improve their knowledge in Indian universities and research institutes and create and use international joint, scientific and practical laboratories at our university, publish articles in collaboration with Indian scientists, 2 + 2 bachelors in joint programs and the implementation of 1 + 1 master's degree programs.
