Dean of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Novosibirsk State University visited Urgench State University

On May 24, 2021, the Dean of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Novosibirsk State University of the Russian Federation, Professor Igor Vladimirovich Marchuk and Associate Professor of the National University of Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov, visited Urgench State University.

During the visit, which was carried out with the aim of further strengthening cooperation between the two universities in the field of research and education, a meeting was held with university students. Led by the rector of the university Bakhrom Abdullayev, the meeting was attended by professors and teachers of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, undergraduates and postgraduates.

At the meeting, Professor Igor Vladimirovich Marchuk introduced the students to Novosibirsk State University. I.V. Marchuk gave information about the activities of the university, its internal structure, opportunities for students, scientific potential, the number of professors and students, directions and specialties, and urged students to enter the Master’s degree in physics and mathematics.

At the end of the meeting, professors-teachers and students asked Igor Vladimirovich Marchuk questions and received answers to them.

Klara Allaberganova, who graduated from the UrSU Physics and Mathematics Faculty, is currently a second-year master's student at Novosibirsk State University, told the students about her impressions of the university, about the conditions created and the educational process.
