The department of "Uzbek language and literature" of the Faculty of Philology discussed the dissertation of Yakubova Matluba Tadjibayevna, a teacher of Urgench State University, an independent researcher, on "Linguopoetic features of Erkin Samandar's poetry" prepared for the degree of PhD under the supervision of DsC.S.M. Sariev. During the discussion, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Associate Professor DK Gayipov, Professor HJ Abdullayev spoke about the successes and shortcomings of the dissertation. Senior teachers of the department "Uzbek language and literature" docent N.Jumaniyazova and docent S.Kurbanova presented their written reviews on this scientific work. Based on the positive feedback expressed during the meeting, the dissertation was recommended for defense. The discussion was attended by teachers of the department "Uzbek language and literature" and masters of Literary Studies: Uzbek literature.
