A conference dedicated to the 212th anniversary of Ogahi's birth was held

This year marks the 212th anniversary of the birth of Muhammad Rizo Erniyozbek oglu Ogahi, a brilliant representative of the 19th century Khiva literary environment, author of great historical works, statesman, skilled calligrapher and prolific artist.

In this regard, today, December 15, at the Palace of Culture of UrSU was held a scientific-practical conference by the Faculty of Philology on the topic:

The conference was attended by representatives of the Khorezm regional administration, members of the regional Writers' Union, university professors and students.

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth, Spiritual and Enlightenment Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov, who delivered a speech on "Great Awareness" and moderated the conference.

R.Khudayberganov - Adviser to the Governor on the state language - "On the publication of historical works of Ogahi", the head of the department "Uzbek language and literature", Associate Professor S.Matkarimova - "Pand" Navoi Agahi Tatabbusi ”, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor, etc. A.Urazbaev - "Mahmud Zamakhshari's work" Muqaddimat ul-adab "is an important linguistic and literary monument of the Middle Ages" and congratulatory speeches of members of the regional Writers' Union B.Bekmatov and Shoira Shams.

This scientific-practical conference was connected with the final stage of the "Poetry Podium" competition. The final stage of the competition was dedicated to Ogahi's poetry, in which 6 literary students of the university competed in the field of art.

The performances, performances and songs performed by the 197th Uzbek language group took a deep place in the hearts of the audience.

Each participant's performance was judged by a panel of judges. According to the results of the competition:

1st place: Student of the 185th Uzbek language group of the Faculty of Philology - Yuldasheva Nodira

1st place: Matkarimova Nuriya, student of the 189th group of the Faculty of Pedagogy

2nd place: Karimova Bibirobia, student of the 184th group of the Uzbek language group of the Faculty of Philology

3rd place: Ismailova Kamola, student of the Uzbek language group 204 of the Faculty of Philology

The winners were awarded with diplomas and a set of books.
