On March 15, 2021, a delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Mr. Manish Prabhat visited Urgench State University. The guests were greeted by representatives of the Department of International Relations headed by the rector of URSU B. Abdullaev and the teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Philology.

Within the framework of the visit, the opening ceremony of the Indian class took place. This class is located in the Faculty of Foreign Philology, where our students study innovation and research, Indian culture and traditions.

The guests got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created for students in the Indian class. Students and teachers of the university also performed the Khorezmian lazgi dance and the Indian dance for the guests.
