In the contest, announced in November 2018 for higher education by the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation for the training of specialists abroad and dialogue with compatriots under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the teachers of the “English Language and Literature” department took an active part and the teachers of the department Rakhimova Khilola, Artikova Dildora, Nurmatova Manzura and Jumaniyazova Nasiba were awarded a scholarship of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation.

These teachers had successfully completed the professional development course“Professional Development Course for Teachers from Uzbekistan”, which lasted from July 27 up to august 27at the Norwich Institute of Language Education (NILE), in Norwich, Great Britain

Teachers provided free books, brought from the UK to the library of the department.
