Qalandarov, the chairman of the party organization of the Urganch City Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Rozmetov Mansurbek, Professors of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the chairman of the university tutors' council R. Matchanov also spoke about the participation of students.

At the event, Oliy Majlis deputy K. Jumaniyozov, B. Qalandarov, associate professor of "Ecology and HFX" department A. Masharipov gave a speech on the topic. Generally speaking, this date is related to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, which was adopted in 1994 at the UN Conference on Environmental Protection. Also, for Uzbekistan, the issues of combating desertification and drought take a priority place in ensuring sustainable development. Consistent measures and international projects are being implemented in this regard. In particular, it was noted that since 2017, the CADI "Initiative on deserts in Central Asia" project has been implemented in our country.
