Today, in the museum "Victims of Repression" in the structure of Urganch State University, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the granting of the status of the State Language to the Uzbek language on October 21, an event was organized on the theme "Mother Tongue - Mirror of the Nation". The event was opened by the director of the museum Y. Rahmonova. At this event, under the leadership of M. Otamuratova, a teacher of the Uzbek language and literature department of the Faculty of Philology, talented students of the Faculty of Philology of UrSU actively participated with their programs.
During the event, poems praising our mother tongue were performed. Also, the literary heritage of our enlightened ancestors, who contributed to the development of our language, was discussed. At the end of the event, active students were awarded certificates and valuable books by the museum management.
