TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC AND ACADEMIC PURPOSES: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

On March 15, an international scientific and practical conference was held under the leadership of the Department of "Interfaculty Foreign Languages" of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urgench State University on the topic "Teaching English for Special and Academic Purposes: Problems and Prospects".

It was attended by professors and teachers of the faculty, researchers, students and specialists from foreign partner universities conducting classes, as well as foreign scientists through the Zoom platform.

This international scientific and practical conference is aimed at disseminating the latest news and achievements in the field of teaching English for special and academic purposes among specialists in this field, discussing existing theories of teaching English for special and academic purposes around the world, discussing English for special purposes and get acquainted with scientific works carried out abroad and in our republic on teaching methods for academic purposes, highlight the possibilities of using innovative methods in teaching English for special and academic purposes.
