In accordance with the cooperation agreement between Urgench State University and the British Council, a training seminar “IELTS Teacher Training Workshop” was organized by the head of the department of “English Language and Literature”, Professor Jamilya Ermetova on August 25-27. As part of this training, Murad Ismailov, Global IELTS expert of the British Council, taught teachers of the Department of Foreign Language and Literature of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, teachers and students about the international IELTS test system, its types and preparation for it exam, provided them with complete information about the necessary recommendations. During the training, the expert gave advice on effective methods for developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills when learning English and how to prepare the necessary materials, and the training participants were awarded certificates.
