On October 31 of this year, the Uzbek philology faculty of UrSU organized the next round of the "Navoiykhan Student" contest, which is traditionally held with the participation of university students, in order to deeply study Alisher Navoi's work, rich literary heritage, and deeply understand the content and essence of his works.

The contest was held in a unique upbeat spirit through question-and-answer sessions, debates, samples of A. Navoi's lyrics read by students, and artistic performances of students. The artistic part as well as a scene dedicated to the poet's life, songs and beautiful dances composed of ghazals by Navoi became more lively with the performances of the students of the 204th group, Philology and language teaching: the Uzbek language education direction.

According to the results of the contest, the following students won:

1st place: Hasanboyeva Munisa (student of the Uzbek language, group 202);

2nd place: Rahimova Dilrabo (student of the Uzbek language, group 211);

3rd place: Adamboyeva Mohichehra (student of the Uzbek language, group 232).

Each task was duly evaluated by the jury, and finally the winners of the contest were awarded by the dean of the faculty, prof. D. Gayipov with a diploma and souvenirs.
