These days, the national holiday of the Russian people - "Wide Maslenitsa" is widely celebrated in our country. In this regard, on March 15, a series of events were organized by the students of the 1st-3rd courses of philology teaching languages: Russian language at the faculty of Uzbek philology of Urganch State University. At the exhibition, the table decorated in a national spirit with national dishes and salads of the Russian people, various types of pastries, kitchen utensils, and toys was enjoyed by everyone. University vice-chancellor prof. S.U. Khojaniyozov, Dean of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, Prof. D.Q. Gayipov, professors and teachers of the faculty, graduate students and students actively participated in the exhibition and other events. The events ended with an artistic part and award ceremony, which will be held on March 15 at 14:00 at the University Palace of Culture.

          The university has created all opportunities for national holiday events of representatives of different nationalities, and such events are held regularly. We believe that the celebration of such holidays encourages people to be more kind and serves to strengthen interethnic harmony.
