Maslenitsa is a national holiday of the Russian people, which is a week-long celebration of the meeting of the winter and spring seasons. Maslenitsa is a week of preparation for fasting.

In connection with this holiday, today, March 15, the students of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of Urgench State University of Philology and Language Teaching: Russian Education are celebrating Maslenitsa.

The rich national culture, unique traditions, and national dishes of the Russian people were colorfully displayed at the exhibition organized at a high level in the faculty hall from early morning.

The festive exhibition, which gave everyone an equally cheerful mood, attracted the attention of not only the faculty, but also the university management, professors and teachers, and a large number of students.
