"Maslenitsa" holiday was widely celebrated by the students of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, Philology and Language Teaching: Russian Education.

In the afternoon, the artistic part of the series of events dedicated to the "Maslenitsa" holiday was held in the Palace of Culture of the university. In it, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students competed in table decoration, quizzes and other interesting conditions. Students of group 221 took first place overall. The winning teams were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the management of the university.

At the end of the event, S.R.Djumaniyazova, Z.N.Ruzmetova, G.Sh.Artikova from the experienced professors of the "Russian language and literature" department expressed their opinions and emphasized the expediency of regularly holding such cultural events.
