The award ceremony of the Republican final stage of the “Students’ League” sports competitions in wrestling was held

On May 17-19 of this year, the Republican final stage of the “Students’ League” sports competitions in wrestling was held at Urgench State University. A total of 252 participants from 14 regions of our Republic took part in the competition, and the students defended the honor of their region with dignity.

In this competition, 6 students of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni actively participated in various weight categories and took honorable places. This victory, achieved at the republican level, fills the team of our university, which consists of many thousands, with great pride. This result shows that our university is occupying high positions not only in education, but also in sports at the republican and world levels.

According to the overall results:
1st place: Gulshan Kurbandurdiyeva — student of the 241st judo group of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology;
1st place: Nesibeli Urazbayeva — student of the 242nd wrestling group of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology;
2nd place: Khayitjon Sadullayeva — 3rd year student of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology;
2nd place: Kamronbek Sultanov — student of the 23.01 wrestling group of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology;
3rd place: Tolibjon Batirov — student of the 23.01 wrestling group of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology;
3rd place: Ravshan Ollamov — student of the 23.01 judo group of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology.
