UrSU hosts international scientific and practical conference on "Ecology and environmental protection, problems and their innovative solutions"
Today, May 22, at the initiative of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, an international scientific and practical conference on "Ecology and environmental protection, problems and their innovative solutions" is being held at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. Professors, teachers and young researchers from foreign and republican higher educational institutions are participating in this conference online and offline.
First, the opening ceremony of the conference was held. Acting Rector of the university S.Khodjaniyazov opened the conference and wished success to the conference. After that, lectures began on the topics included in the agenda of the conference.
In particular, the Deputy Director for International Relations of the Institute of Natural Sciences of Udmurt State University Elena Ovechkina gave lectures on "Directions and prospects of cooperation between Udmurt State University and Urgench State University", as well as lectures by professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of the Republic on such topical topics as "The Role of "Green" Financing in the Development of the "Green" Economy in the Country", "Protection of the Flora and Fauna of Uzbekistan and Its Promising Solutions" and "Environmental Education as the Basis of Sustainable Development of Society".
The conference will continue its activities in the second part of the day with 5 branch meetings.
