The 4th Meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University Took Place

Today, November 28, the 4th meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni was held. The meeting was chaired by Acting Rector S.Khodjaniyazov, with the participation of Council members.

At the beginning of the meeting, diplomas for academic degrees and titles were ceremoniously presented to professors and lecturers who made significant contributions to enhancing the university’s scientific potential.

Additionally, M.Maqsudova, a student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, who won the honorable 2nd place in German at the science olympiad among students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, received a certificate, and her supervisor, Associate Professor G.Abdullayev, received a letter of appreciation from the university administration.

During the 4th meeting of the Academic Council, information and reports were heard from responsible persons on the following issues:

Outcomes of the Central Asian countries and U.S. leaders’ summit in the “S5+1” format (information);
Results of the 2024–2025 academic year at the university and tasks for the new academic year (report);
Work carried out to ensure the employment of graduates and students at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (information).

In addition, the Council thoroughly discussed various issues and conducted elections.
