Meetings of the Rector with faculty teams continue

Today, the next meeting of the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, was held with the team of the Faculty of Physical Education, Pedagogy, and Psychology. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the faculty, Professor Oktam Matnazarov, as well as faculty members, tutors, and staff.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to improving the quality of the faculty’s material and technical base, developing sports disciplines, and ensuring systematic preparation of students for national and international championships, as well as for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in 2028.

Currently, the faculty includes students who are members of Uzbekistan’s national teams in various sports. The Rector outlined tasks aimed at creating even broader opportunities for these students.

In addition, the scientific potential of the departments was comprehensively analyzed, and supporting the research activities of faculty members became a central topic of discussion. The Rector emphasized that improving the conditions for preparing and successfully defending dissertations is a priority task.

The meeting, held in an open and sincere atmosphere, included thorough discussions of faculty proposals and initiatives, existing challenges, and the development of specific measures to address them.
