A Memorandum Was Signed with Varna University of Management (Bulgaria)

Today, within the framework of the international “QUARTZ” project, Urgench State University hosted Vice President of Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) Vanina Valcheva and Director of Internationalization and Global Cooperation Christina Armutlieva.

The guests held a meeting with the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations A. Atamuratov, Head of the International Cooperation Department O.Sotiboldiyev, and relevant university officials. During the meeting, issues of establishing mutual cooperation between Urgench State University and Varna University of Management were discussed, and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties.

This memorandum is aimed at developing scientific and academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions. In particular, it covers the organization of joint scientific seminars, scientific-practical conferences, symposia, and other international events, collaboration in research projects aimed at university development, and mutual publication of scientific articles and publications.

In addition, the memorandum provides opportunities for academic mobility of faculty members, staff, and students, as well as for professional development and scientific-practical internships.
