Natalya Sannikova, an assistant professor at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Astrakhan State University, was invited to give a lecture course for the students of Urgench State University.  Accordingly, from 12th to 16th April 2019, courses on the subject "Modern Russian Literature Language" was held for students of the foreign philology department.

On June 18, 2019, Kseniya Tyurenkova from Astrakhan State University and Yukina Yevgenia, head of the international relations department of Astrakhan State Technical University visited Urgench State University. During the visit, they organize a meeting with the participation of regional universities of Urgench State University. At the same time, the Center of ”Russian Language and Culture" was opened in accordance with the agreement of Astrakhan State University. Also, they signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities, accordingly, there was opened a Master's degree in Translation Study for students of foreign philology department.
