REC "Kuzbass" launches a competition to find youth initiatives aimed at improving the state of the environment

ANO "KuZbass Scientific and Educational Center" with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kuzbass, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Kuzbass, universities of the region, as well as the Association of specialists in the field of environmental protection "ECOprofessional" (Moscow) announce the start of accepting works for participation in the international competition of environmental projects and youth initiatives.

The organizers offer students, including foreign ones, to develop ideas for improving the state of the environment in the industrial region.

To participate in the competition, you must fill out the registration form and upload the project to the website of the KuZbass Scientific and Educational Center. Both individual authors and youth groups can take part in the development of the idea. The deadline for submitting projects on the website is up to and including May 16.

The Council of Experts will determine the winners in five nominations:

The best eco-marketing project;

* The best eco-engineering solution;

* The best eco-innovation in university infrastructure;

* The best eco-initiative to preserve the natural biodiversity of the Kemerovo region;

* The best eco-volunteer initiative for eco-education of the population of the Kemerovo region.

Incentive prizes are also provided for participants. Experts will summarize the results in two months, in early June. The end of the competition will be timed to coincide with the World Environmental Protection Day – the Day of the Ecologist in Russia, which is celebrated on June 5.

The best youth environmental projects will be evaluated, including from the point of view of implementation and implementation within the framework of the KuZbass REC project, its participants and industrial partners in the environmental direction.
