National costumes are a mirror of the nation

In accordance with the report of the Republican Commission on Gender Equality and Family Issues, a conference on "National costumes are a mirror of the nation" will be held today, May 31, at Urgench State University as part of Khorezm region's activities on the topic " Women - the mirror of society " took place.

Active and enterprising women of our society, who have their own place in our republic and region, female professors and teachers, and students, under the leadership of Urgench State University, took part in the conference.

The conference was opened by the Rector of UrDU, B.Abdullayev, who spoke about the centuries-old values of our people, our national costumes, which are a rich and eternal cultural and spiritual heritage, and the embodiment of high human qualities that are unique and suitable for our nation, each of us. He emphasized the importance of making a worthy contribution to ensuring the well-being of families and the stability of the social and spiritual environment in society by preserving our nationality.

At the conference, the head of the department for the development of entrepreneurship, assistance in ensuring employment, organization of vocational training M.Nurmatova, deputy governor of the region - head of the family and women's department N.Kutlimuratova, Urgench State University First vice-rector S. Davletov, honorary professor of UrSU S. Masharipova, associate professor of the "History" department M. Jumaniyazova, chairman of the Women's Advisory Council of UrSU Sh. Nurullayeva gave lectures.

National costumes embody the history, ancient customs and traditions, taste, and aesthetic views of our people, and now it is very important to widely promote the appeal of national costumes among young people. Clothing not only makes a person look good, but it is one of the tools that shows his manners, outlook, character, level of spirituality, in general, what kind of person he is. Speakers at the event paid special attention to these aspects.
