Regular Meeting of the Rector’s Council Held

A regular meeting of the Rector’s Council was held at Urgench State University. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the university, Feruza Madrahimova, and attended by all council members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the council members were introduced to the newly appointed Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, A.Atamurotov, as well as the newly appointed Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, R.Sharipov.

The meeting began with the discussion of organizational matters. In particular, issues such as monitoring the quality of student services, including the quality and pricing of meals in dining facilities, ensuring the effective organization and conduct of conferences and seminars, enriching the overall environment of faculties with meaningful content, and reviewing the progress of the “Engineering School” were discussed.

Following this, in accordance with the agenda, the issues presented by the vice-rectors were comprehensively reviewed. Important matters related to the university’s current and priority areas of activity were discussed, and relevant decisions were made to ensure their effective implementation.

Improving the efficiency of the educational process, enhancing the quality of classes, and strengthening student attendance were at the center of the discussion.

At the same time, the key indicators of the “National Ranking” were thoroughly analyzed, and priority tasks were outlined to ensure the university secures a достойное position in this ranking.

At the conclusion of the meeting, various additional issues were considered, and specific instructions were given to the responsible parties.
