A New Logo of Urgench State University Approved
At the 9th meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University, the university’s new logo was officially approved. The new logo combines the strategic vision, historical roots, and future ambitions of Urgench State University. It creates the image of a modern university that strives for growth through knowledge, respects traditions, and confidently moves toward innovation.
The concept and meaning of the logo are as follows:
The upward-oriented vertical elements in the logo reflect the philosophy of growth and symbolize the university’s strategic direction. They represent gradual development, academic and scientific stability, and a strong aspiration to enter the international arena. Each element signifies new heights achieved through the integration of knowledge, experience, and innovation, as well as serving as a symbol of the foundation of the Third Renaissance.
The open book at the center of the logo represents a source of knowledge and intellectual freedom, expressing the core essence of the university. It also symbolizes an environment open to free thinking, research, and innovation. This indicates that opportunities are always open to every student and scholar. The elements rising from the book emphasize that true progress can only be achieved through science and education. This composition reflects the transformation of a student from a learner into a mature specialist, a leader, and a contributor to societal development.
The inscription “1935” in the logo of a university with more than 90 years of history symbolizes continuity and stability. It reflects the succession of generations, the formation of scientific schools, and the preservation of traditions. Most importantly, nearly a century of experience serves as a solid foundation for the university’s current achievements.
The green color of the logo carries deep symbolic meaning, representing sustainable development, growth, renewal, and responsibility for the future. It highlights the university’s continuous progress and openness to new ideas and initiatives.
The logo harmoniously combines minimalism and modernity. This simplicity reflects the depth of its meaning. Typically, minimalist design avoids excessive decoration and conveys ideas clearly and concisely.
