In 1957, at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Khorezm State Pedagogical and Primary Education, the department was headed by Professor Akhmad Nurmetov. On February 1, 1997, on the basis of this faculty, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education was organized. Later, the faculty was headed by Associate Professor Madriman Jumaniozov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Goypnazar Sotipov and Candidate of Medical Sciences Khamdam Abdullayev. Farhad Rajabov was appointed Vice-Rector for Theory and Methods of Primary Education at the Center. In subsequent years, the faculty was headed by Professor Erkin Iskandarovich Ruziev, Doctor of Philosophy Olimboy Otajonov. Norimon Fozilov, Ph.D. Matchonboy Tokhirov, Associate Professor Madriman Jumaniozov, Honorary Professor Francesco Sultanposha Masharipova, Ph.D. associate professor Bakhrom Abdullayev, Jumanazar Yarmetov, associate professor Navbakhor Salaeva, associate professor Rochengmat Thanks to mutual respect and cooperation, the team was able to take part in regional and national events, the faculty won prizes at the regional and national levels. Nurmetov Malik Matyakubov, Shomurod Kurboev, Radimboy Allaberganov, Umar Khujaniyazov, Bikajon Ramanova, Yorkina Rakhmonova, Nazira Radjabova, Rano Umarova, Farhod Radjabov, Matchonboy Tokhirov, Narimon Fozilov are widely used in their masterpieces. In 2015–2016, the faculty was headed by associate professor Madatov Khabibulla, in 2017–2019 the faculty was headed by associate professor Y. Yarmetov, in 1999 the faculty was divided into two faculties. Currently, the head of the pedagogical faculty is the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Jumanazar Yarmetov.
