On May 24 in the Conference Hall of Urgench State University professors and teachers of the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages ​​of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and students of the Department of Philology :English language , 201-203 group organized a party "India study Day" . The event was also attended by foreign guests via the zoom platform. The event began with the presenting of the Sanskrit dictionary of the Bahadur Lal Shastri Indian Center to Professor Atabay Jumaniyazov of Urgench State University. The analysis of the practical part of the scientific work on the topic of differences and similarities of words introduced by Dilnoza Jumaniyozova who is doing her research on that topic. Afterwards, the students performed an Indian dance and a short extract from the Indian national epic, the Mahabharata. A quiz "How well do you know India? " was organized and souvenirs were given to students who answered the questions correctly. The event was warmly welcomed not only by our students, but also by our Indian guests, and it was noted that in the future many events will be organized about the culture, traditions and customs of the two countries.
