Figen Zihnioglu and Evren Koban, professors of Ege University located in Izmir, Turkey, who are among the top 1000, are working for a month from October 15 to November 15 at the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences of Urganch State University.

In particular, from October 15 this year at the "Biology" department, professor Figen Zihnioglu will teach the laboratory of "Biochemistry and molecular biology" to the students of the 2nd year of Biology, group 224, and professor Evren Koban will teach 3rd year to 3rd year Russian group 221 from Biotechnology and to graduate Russian group 201 from Bioinformatics.

During the educational process and during free time from classes, professors Figen Zihnioglu and Evren Koban conduct round-table discussions with students and professors about the research works in various fields of biology, the results obtained from them, their importance and useful aspects today. From the advices given during the classes and scientific-practical seminars, the current works in the field of biochemistry, molecular biology, gene analysis, nucleotide sequence determination, polymerase chain reaction, samples taken for research, which are being carried out in Turkey are having intense conversations about the research on plant and animal DNA isolation and their DNA sequencing.

The professors exchanged ideas with associate professor Zakirjon Tajiyev, who is working on the biochemical analysis of plants (saffron), and Ph.D. Rakhimova Kholiskhan, who is working on the soybean plant. They are working on a separate project for each plant in connection with the biochemical analyzes conducted on these plants and possible experiments in the future. Roundtable discussions were held on the importance of these works for Uzbekistan, as well as for the research conducted at Urganch State University.
