Today, a cultural event was organized in honor of guests from a number of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Turkey who visited Urgench State University.

The event was opened by the dean of the faculty of Uzbek philology, professor D. Ghayipov, who thanked the guests for their visit and expressed confidence that cooperation between the universities would be mutually beneficial. Advisor to Khorezm region governor R. Khudaiberganov gave a speech about the long-standing friendly relations and common aspects of the two brotherly countries.

After that, artistic performances were presented by the talented students of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology. Beautiful Turkish dances, poems in the Khorezm dialect, a lively song about the national culture of Khorezm, and Lazgi dance made a special impression on the guests.
