The vice-rector of UrSU participated in the forum "International cooperation on the path to excellence in education and research" in Vietnam

The Association of Southeast Asian Universities (ASAIHL) was founded in 1956, and currently more than 230 universities are members of this association. Urgench State University was one of the first in Central Asia, i.e., it was accepted as a member of this prestigious organization by the decision of the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the association held at Soka University in Tokyo in 2023.

On December 6-8, 2023, the next meeting of this organization was held at the Vietnam-France University of Science and Technology in Hanoi (Vietnam). Among more than 100 participants from 40 universities, Zafarbek Ibragimov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovation of UrSU, took part in this international conference called "International cooperation on the path to excellence in education and research". At the conference, Z. Ibragimov gave a speech about the university and the scientific research and innovations carried out in it.

Within the framework of the conference, to establish mutually beneficial cooperation relations with the Vietnam-France University of Science and Technology, San Beda University in Manila (Philippines) and the French Center for Agricultural Research and International Cooperation (CIRAD), as well as  It was agreed to expand cooperation with  Secretary of ASAIHL  Prof. Ninnat Olanvoravuth.
