From April 29 to May 1 this year, the First Uzbekistan-Belarus Professional Education Forum will be held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. Rector of Urgench State University Bakhrom Abdullayev and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G'airat O'razboyev are participating in this forum. The forum began on April 29 with the section meeting of the Uzbekistan-Belarus professional education forum.

A session of the forum was held today. Rectors of 14 higher educational institutions of our republic took part in it, and issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of the system of professional educational institutions, were discussed during the session. A memorandum of cooperation, a contract and road maps were signed.

In particular, training on the basis of joint educational programs together with Urgench State University and the Belarusian National Technical University, as well as agreements were signed between the UNESCO Department of “Sustainable Development” of Urgench State University and the UNESCO Department of “Energy Saving and Renewable Energy Sources” of the Belarusian National Technical University, aimed at establishing scientific cooperation relations.
