The regional qualifying round of the "Students' League" sports competition in volleyball was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni
Today, on February 22, the regional qualifying round of the "Students' League" sports competition in volleyball among boys and girls was held at the initiative of the Sports Club at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.
In order to develop physical education and mass sports among youngsters, to develop their physical and intellectual abilities, improve their physical abilities, motor activity, and increase their employability, sports competitions are being held in stages according to the League Regulations.
Students and youth from four state higher educational establishments of our region: UrSU, UrSPI, TMA UB and TUIT UB participated in the competition and competed fiercely for victory.
At the beginning of the proceedings, the Deputy Chairman of the Sports Club M.Rahimov and the teacher of the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology, the winner of the "Best Coach of the Year" nomination in volleyball N.Rozmetov introduced the teams to the rules and regulations.
The results are as follows:
UrSU - 1st place (among boys and girls);
UrSPI - 2nd place (among boys and girls);
TMA UB - 3rd place (among boys and girls).
