Uzbek language is our national pride!

Today, October 21st, a celebration titled "Uzbek Language – Our National Pride" was held by the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Foreign Philology at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruniy, on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the Uzbek language being granted state language status. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Z.Jumaniyozov, who congratulated all the participants on the holiday. In his speech, he specifically addressed the unique role of the Uzbek language in the life of our people, its rich historical roots, and its high status in state policy today. The holiday event was held in an atmosphere of festivity. Students performed poetry recitations, stage performances, and dance routines celebrating the Uzbek language. Additionally, students tested their knowledge through quiz questions, and the winners were awarded with commemorative gifts.
