On September 19, under the leadership of the former president of the Turkish Hearths organization, Doctor of Science, Professor Nedim Yunal, Turkish guests visited the Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni under the motto “From the Motherland to the Fatherland.” The tour, which took place in a solemn atmosphere, was organized by the museum's director, Yulduz Rakhmonova. The tourists, consisting of a team of professors and highly qualified teachers with many years of experience, were most interested in the occupation of the Central Asian khanates by Tsarist Russia, the national liberation uprisings of the colonial period, the national revival movement in Central Asia in the 20th century, the lives of its representatives, and the strategies they used to achieve independence.
