The 7th Meeting of the Council of Urgench State University Was Held

Today, on March 3, the 7th meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni was held. The meeting was chaired by Acting Rector S.Khodjaniyazov and attended by members of the Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, diplomas confirming academic degrees and titles were awarded to professors and teachers who have made significant contributions to enhancing the university’s scientific potential.
Winners of national competitions were also recognized, and proactive students and their mentors were warmly congratulated.

During the meeting, Acting Rector S.Khodjaniyazov presented diplomas to students who won prizes at the “Bukhara International Mathematics Olympiad – 2026 (BIMO–2026),” held at Bukhara State University, and expressed gratitude to their mentors on behalf of the university community.

At the 7th meeting of the Council of Urgench State University, reports and information from responsible officials were heard on the agenda items, including:
*Information on the political, economic, and social life of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
*The university’s financial and economic activities for 2025;
*Efforts aimed at organizing students’ free time in a meaningful way;
*The relevance of undergraduate qualification works and master’s theses carried out at departments to regional issues;
*Measures implemented at the Faculty of Engineering to ensure employment for graduates and students.

In addition, various issues were comprehensively discussed by the Council, and elections were conducted.
