Introduction of the New Rector to the Urgench State University Team

Today, on March 17, a meeting dedicated to organizational matters was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation S.Rajabov, Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region S.Salayev, representatives of the Ministry’s regional office, and the university’s faculty members.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Minister S.Rajabov officially announced to the team that, in accordance with the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Feruza Madrakhimova has been appointed as the Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni.

Speakers emphasized the new rector’s scientific potential, experience, and management skills, and wished her success in her responsible work.

In turn, Rector F.Madrakhimova expressed gratitude for the high level of trust placed in her and emphasized that she intends to diligently fulfill her responsibilities, mobilize all her efforts and resources to ensure the comprehensive development of the university, and elevate the quality of education and scientific potential to a new level.

Furthermore, the meeting included a detailed exchange of views on priority tasks aimed at further improving the university’s activities, ensuring modern education quality, and expanding scientific research and innovative activities.
