On November 16, 2019, at the Istiqlol Cultural Center in Urgench, a roundtable titled "The Aral Sea's Past and the Impact of Time" was held. The event included an artist competition, an exhibition of drawings by students of children's music and art schools on "My Island". During the event, the participants were informed about the current situation in the Aral Sea, its current and current status, the impact of the drying sea on the environment, the ongoing work to preserve the Aral Sea and improve the environmental situation in the region. The participants were shown a video on the subject. Participants of the event received answers to their questions from the specialist. The event was attended by specialists from the Khorezm Regional Department of Culture, professors and teachers of the Department of Ecology at the Urgench State University, employees of departments and organizations, students and honorable mentors.
