Deputy Prime Minister Zulaykho Makhkamova met with UrSU students
Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women, Zulaykho Bakhriddinovna Makhkamova, visited Urgench State University.
As part of the visit, a meeting titled “Leader and Youth Dialogue” was organized with the participation of female students of the university. The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of Khorezm region Nigora Kutlimuratova, Hero of Uzbekistan Anora Mahmudova, as well as a group of leading women in science from the region. The meeting was opened with an introductory speech by the Rector of UrSU, Feruza Madrakhimova.
In her speech, Zulaykho Makhkamova spoke about the reforms being implemented in the country aimed at supporting youth, particularly focusing on girls’ education, career guidance, and increasing their social activity. Issues such as developing leadership potential among young people, encouraging their active participation in public administration, as well as promoting gender equality and legal awareness were highlighted.
It was emphasized that the reforms being implemented by our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to ensure that women find a worthy place in life, receive a thorough education, and acquire a profession are yielding practical results.
During the dialogue, special attention was paid to preparing girls for family life, the negative consequences of early marriage, and the importance of starting a family with a clear sense of responsibility and life experience.
The meeting was held in a sincere and open atmosphere, with female students actively participating and sharing their opinions and suggestions.
